Student Treats in Worcester City Centre That Won't Break the Bank
When you're a student in Worcester, the budget only stretches so far, and most of it tends to go on coffee and the occasional big shop. But everyone needs a proper treat now and then, ideally one that doesn't involve a long bus ride or a small fortune. That's where we come in. 4 Seasons Juice & Ice Cream sits at 24 Silver Street, just off the Cornmarket, so it's a short walk from town and easy to drop into between lectures, after a shift, or when you simply fancy something sweet.
The other handy bit is the hours. We're open every day from 10am right through to 11pm, which covers the late library sessions and the post-night-out cravings alike. You can dine in if you want somewhere to sit for a bit, or grab a takeaway and carry on with your day.
Something cold and refreshing
If you want a pick-me-up that feels a little bit virtuous, our freshly pressed fruit juices are a good shout. Orange, mango, pineapple, watermelon and pomegranate are all there, along with lemon, mint lime, and a mixed option if you can't decide. There's a vegetable and detox range too, so carrot, beetroot, celery, ginger and a green detox if your week of takeaways needs balancing out. After a long day, a cold pressed juice is a small thing that genuinely helps.
For something more indulgent, the ice cream is sold by the scoop. Stick with vanilla, chocolate or strawberry, or branch out to pista, cookies and cream, mango or fruit cocktail. If you're treating yourself properly, there's a special sundae waiting.
Shakes and waffles for when you really mean it
Some days call for more than a scoop. Our milkshakes run from the classics, like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and banana, up to premium ones built around Oreo, Lotus Biscoff, Ferrero Rocher and Nutella. If you and your housemates are sharing the load, the freakshakes come in Chocolate, Oreo and Lotus, and they are a real event.
Then there are the bubble waffles, which are easily the most fun thing on the menu. Pick Mr. Oreo, Strawberry Queen, Banana and Nuts, Belgian Chocolate, Snickers or Kitkat, or keep it simple with plain chocolate or vanilla. They travel well too, so they're perfect for splitting with friends on the walk back.
