What is a bubble waffle?
If you have walked past the shop and wondered what those golden, bubbly cones are, that is a bubble waffle, sometimes called an egg waffle. They have been a street food favourite for years, and now we make them fresh on Silver Street.
The waffle is cooked to order on a hot plate that gives it that row of little round bubbles. It comes out crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. We fold it into a cone and load it up while it is still warm.
Our bubble waffles
We do a few versions. The Mr. Oreo is a chocolate waffle with Nutella, cream and Oreo. The Strawberry Queen is a vanilla waffle with strawberry, cream and sprinkles. Then there is Banana and Nuts, Belgian Chocolate, Snickers and Kitkat, and a couple more. If you want to keep it simple, we also do plain chocolate or vanilla.
First time? Go for the Mr. Oreo or the Belgian Chocolate. Those are the two people come back for.
Where to get one in Worcester
You will find us at 24 Silver Street, right in the city centre. Look for the red sign and the balloons. We are open every day from 10am to 11pm, so it works for an afternoon treat or a late one after dinner. Eat in or take it away.
